Important: Published transient research supports using reflected pressure waves for leak and feature detection, but it does not provide a universal ready-made waveform chart for every landscape-irrigation fitting. Pipe material, diameter, wall thickness, restraint, pressure, flow, temperature, sensor bandwidth and pulse shape all change the trace.
